Just a few things that make me happy.

Traveling
Some of my best memories from my undergraduate experience happened while I was studying abroad in Yaoundé, Cameroon. I spent six months living with a host family, hanging out with ten other Dickinsonians, climbing mountains, and exploring the country of Cameroon. This experience tested me in ways I never thought possible and helped me to grow stronger and more self confident. If I could travel anywhere tomorrow, I would hop on a plane to Bali without a doubt.
Farming
If you had told me before I started college that I would know how to lay drip tape (let alone know what that meant), understand proper rotational grazing patterns or spend early morning Saturdays out on a farm, I may not have believed you. These are just some of the experiences I gained while a student farmer at the Dickinson College Farm. Farming has helped me to appreciate manual labor, connect back to nature and solidify my belief in the locavore movement. My ideal Saturday morning starts with a stroll around a farmer's market and I love experimenting with farmer's market buys in the kitchen.

Dancing
Dance has been a part of me since I was a wee tot. My parents always tell me they would blast music around the house and I would dance in my high chair (yeah, I was that kid). Dance has followed me since and my most recent pursuits in dance include performing choreography with the Dance Theatre Group at Dickinson, joining Hypnotic (Dickinson's hip-hop student group), creating choreography with friends, spontaneous dance parties in my apartment and taking weekly African Dance classes in Cameroon.
