Newsletter Designer
CSE Internship | 1 year
As an intern at the Center for Sustainability Education, I worked with MailChimp to design a bi-weekly newsletter. After the first six months of the internship, I redesigned our template and gave the newsletter a fresh look. Check out the most recent edition here. Here's an old school layout and issue from the first six months of my internship. Working at CSE has been rewarding in many regards, but especially because the interns make tangible and genuine changes to the climate on campus surrounding sustainability. I've been fortunate to work with the team.

Student Blogger and Blog Manager | 3 years

Volunteering as a student blogger for 3 years has been one of the most fun aspects of my college career. Not only has it been a way to reflect and document my college experiences, but I've also loved interacting with prospective students through our Q & A section. I have been blog manager for the past year which has given me the creative freedom to play with different mediums on the blogs, track our traffic (we see you, Italy), design hashtags, lead meetings and find new student bloggers to keep the tradition alive. Project management has come in many different forms throughout my college career. I have cultivated such skills during both internship and volunteer experiences. Most recently, I founded the Run for Hope, with the assistance of the Violence Prevention Coordinator at Dickinson. We have put together a committee of 16 female students to assist with the planning of the run, which will raise awareness for Sexual Assault Awareness Month, as well as benefit our local YWCA branch.
